Bear and the Big Blue House

Today I went with my good friend Lilliann Vigil to shoot her working with Jackson Norton, a 15-year-old boy with Austim she cares for.

While reading books, Norton tires and walks out into the living room to watch videos. As Vigil tries to get him to come back to the room, Norton makes sudden hand gestures and insists on watching television. Vigil said Norton loves to watch the same episodes of "Bear and the Big Blue House" over and over again. As part of building his skills, the two practice watching an episode without rewinding and engaging in other activities like reading and hiking.
