An odd subject

Our first U3A meeting this year had a good attendance with 93 members, 6 of whom are new members. I went on my own as B has had a twitchy back for a few days, ok if he keeps on the move, but certainly not good if he sits for an hour plus on a village hall chair.

The speaker was a retired senior detective with many years of experience. It was a fascinating talk and being oldies we we were aware of and knew the history of the murderers that he discussed. It wasn’t all doom and gloom, there was a fair amount of humour.

I spent the afternoon repacking the plastic boxes that I use for storing material in my workroom. Having just made 4 quilts I thought that there would be space in the cupboard, but it’s still looking surprisingly full !!!

It has been a much colder day with temps about 2-3 degrees. B is coaching athletics this evening, a first time for almost two years!!!
He will need to wrap up well. Dinner will be late :0(
