Observatory

This is my astrophotography set-up, currently gathering photons that left the Horsehead Nebula around 1,500 light years ago. With a bit of luck, if it stays clear and the batteries last, I should get nearly 5 hrs worth of 30 seconds exposures. Of those I'll probably have 60% that have tracked successfully and will get stacked and processed.
The advantage with my gear is that it is relatively cheap and easily transportable. The disadvantage is that it is cheap and easily transportable! I cannot guide the scope so the initial alignment has to be spot on, and the mount is not particularly sturdy.
For sturdiness, guiding capabilities and computer control I need to win the lottery!
