Egret Visit

Well, our day didn't go as planned. Glenn had a rough night so his back was really sore this morning. He didn't feel up to the hour drive to go to the birthday party. Later he said he would be ok to go for a short drive so we went out to see the egrets. It was a gray rainy windy day. In this shot the egret is holding on during a wind burst! I took 600 shots. Will go through them all when I have time. I ended up getting a sinus headache. ugh. Just took some meds so think I will go rest and see if it will subside. Oh, and while I was taking photos out there Glenn was listening to the raido. Our battery died. But, we have AAA! They said they would be an hour :( A nice couple of ladies stopped and jumped the battery a lot sooner than an hour. Yay! Glenn gave them Starbucks gift cards for stopping. Several "guys" drove right on by us with our hood up obviously needing help, with one even honking. nice. So, the gals got a nice surprise for helping us. $25 each gift card! Pays to help people in need :o)
Ack. My head hurts. Going to go lay down.
