Seeing the light
Walked with my neighbour and fellow blipper AuntieP this morning just before it started to get light at 7.30am.
We climbed up through Cottingley Woods where light was discernible through the trees as we reached the folly. Beyond this point we heard a woodpecker but couldn’t spot it.
Out into the fields the light had started to colour but no great fireworks just a steady lightening tinged with orange and pink.
Not as cold as yesterday and less frost though there were patches of ice around and much of the ground was reasonably firm.
Returned to the village via the quarry at Sandybanks. A familiar 4 mike walk but some time since I did it.
Spent the later part of the morning at The Tittle Tattle tea shop enjoying a cuppa and a chat.
Not as bright as it has been recently but still dry.
Have a good weekend everybody.
