Pippi Beach

Took A and Z to the beach this afternoon - mainly to get out of the house ourselves for a couple of hours. They played non stop for two hours with just a stick from the some driftwood washed up on the beach and also with the rocks that have washed up in the storms, hardly a word out of them the whole time and no interest in going in the water which was very unusual!. Interesting to see how differently they both played though - Miss A poked and prodded around with the stick, admired and collected a heap of rocks to take home. Mr Z was more interested in whacking things with the stick and throwing the rocks, some so heavy he could only throw them a few inches thankgoodness. Anyway it was quite relaxing for us and I think they would have stayed there for hours. Just goes to show the simple things in life can sometimes beat all the most expensive toys.
