Buttons

For our latest tag/flag/postcard Anne suggested Fragments and Buttons - tiny squares of fabric, buttons in the centre. I found in my scrap basket a lot of tiny pieces of leftover fabric in deep pink, there was cotton, silk, even Harris Tweed. Then I went looking for buttons . . . 

. . . I have a big collection of buttons. I have my mother's collection and have added to it over the years. The grandchildren have enjoyed playing with them -see here, which was after this. I wonder whether the passing on of button collections will continue for much longer.
