Brixham Walk
Beautiful day for a walk to Brixham for lunch at the Guardhouse Cafe, Berry Head.
The approach is via the Grove woods, the Battery gardens, and the outer harbour, where this boat has languished for many months. There was a noisy great spotted woodpecker drumming in the woods the
second of the walk, claiming bird of the day for entertainment. The sun was almost too bright, and warm enough to dine outside. A seal was swimming near the lifeboat, and porpoises were visible from the cliffs at Berry Head. Not bad for a Thursday. At the gym yesterday someone asked me if I was retired, and if so what did I do all day. The answer is not very much I am pleased to say.
