Tamarisk

It's been dull all day. I didn't go out until the afternoon and I had an idea to photograph the tamarisk trees along the coast path. I didn't hold out much hope for the sky but my wide angle lens managed to pull out some detail in the clouds. By taking three shots 1 stop apart and merging them in Lightroom I got a better image than I'd imagined. 

I love these tamarisk bushes that are so much a part of the Cornish landscape.
