The March of the Ents

Today was the first day for a while without a frost. It's also stayed dry. I went just a little way out of the village and had walked up the road a bit when I noticed a new gap in the hedge with a path going along the side of a field. It's not a public path but it leads up to a very enticing wood with three large beech trees. I've photographed them before but it was good to get up close and get a different angle on them.
