Grey

It's very grey today. Sky is uniform in greyness. Made marmalade in the morning.  Cooking the shredded fruit in the crockpot/slow cooker really was a boon and meant I could get on with something else such as sleeping. ;-)
I made 8 jars, half the normal amount I usually make but I still have last year's supply.
Took hound for a walk a deposited a book in one of the free libraries.  It was an uninspiring, bleak walk. Very glad to get home to hot coffee and a slice of rhubarb and sultana cake.
Now to read a bit of The Bees by Laline Paull.
