Weather was grey and flat so Elaine and l got the bus to Otley then walked to Stephen Smith’s garden centre. 
To be honest l don’t like garden centres these days, much prefer a nursery to get my plants from.
But l want to see how much a more mature acer palmation would cost (eye watering actually) before l source a cheaper one. 

We then walked down to the river, over the bridge and turned left towards the park, then back up to the centre of the town to catch  the bus home.

Had booked a booth at my local pub, about 200 metres from my house and we went for the roast dinner at 4pm.
As good as always.
