Up and Down…

…at Haworth.
Elaine staying for the weekend so we went to Haworth.
Very quiet when we arrived but much busier by the time we left.
We were looking forward to going to Pavé for some lunch but the place was closed for a holiday until Monday.
Had commented about The Hawthorn as we passed on the way up the hill so hotfooted it there and got the last unbooked table.
In a window seat, so enjoyed a good couple of hours people watching as we worked our way through cheeseboard and sourdough bread.
We pushed the boat out and shared a portion of triple cooked, garlic infused chips.  My oh my they were amazing: big and fat, crispy on the outside and floury on the inside. Only four each so not too naughty.
Of course we had a glass of red each and a jug of water.
We really, really like The Hawthorn.
