Long-tailed Drakes

No trip today but I had time to visit the Peedie Sea in Kirkwall to look for a little gull that was reported yesterday. That's the species name, not a description of its size alone. I didn't spot it, but it may have been in among groups of other gulls. Quite a few LTD. I see on Orkney wildlife pages on FB that there are rafts of several hundred at various spots around the coast here. The drakes are very striking.
