Poulanassy falls

After W's excitement yesterday afternoon, he got gradually stiffer all evening, and woke with quite a lot of pain in his coccyx.  So we opted for an easy day.

Poulanassy falls are just 250m from our apartment, so we walked there, getting this view from the car park, and the extra after descending steps.

We then discovered that there is a path along the side of the river, both upstream and downstream.  We went upstream for a way - quite a challenging path.  After a while, W felt he had gone far enough.  I went a little further, but gave up when there was a tree across the path.  I could see how people had gone round it, but as W was waiting, decided to call it a day.

The falls won't quite be within walking distance from our new house, unfortunately, but we will be back.  

We've subsequently had a sedentary afternoon, meeting the electrician who fitted solar panels and a car charger at this house, getting his name for future reference.
