Progress.....slow

I spent quite a few hours of the day in the sewing room, trying to be patient as it's slow progress.I wanted to be sure to get this first lined bodice right so that the next one will be easier and quicker! Making something small always seems to take more time, I guess because the pieces are more fiddly to deal with. Anyway I'm fairly satisfied with the result especially as it's slippery fabric. I'm hoping the back zip won't be too troublesome but I'm not looking forward to that bit. I think I'll stick to stretch fabrics for children from now on so they can just pull them on and off! I just hope the end result will be ok and fit and the girls like them enough to wear them!
