A new orchid..using a new camera!

All my poinsettias have had to go so some new pot plants were needed! This is a small orchid from the local M and S as all the ones in the garden centre looked past their best.

This is taken with a new small camera I bought myself for Christmas. I have not used it much as I had to figure out how to do the Bluetooth transfer to my iPad…which I have now done. 

My much loved Lumix  with a x20 Leica lens which I used on many holidays was dropped and the shutter got stuck  and not possible to repair( It took better photos than with the SLRs we had…possibly aided by lots of good light/ sun) .

I will have to see how it performs outdoors for birds and flowers etc.
