It’s a tough job

I went to my knee rehab class today to do more exercises and after that met Pauline at Hilliers Gardens. It was a very cold day. We came across these two gardeners thigh deep in the pond trying to dig up a plant. It struck me that that’s a job I would absolutely hate on a cold winter’s day and the various jobs I’ve had all compare very favourably with being thigh deep in cold water! They looked quite happy though!
