Cloud ladder to the moon

Yesterday M and l went down to the British Museum to see the Hokusai exhibition before it closes at the end of the week. The exhibition is entitled "The Great Picture Book about Everything" and shows approx 103 small, exquisitely delicate paintings which were to make up an encyclopedia. After publishing the printing blocks would have been normally have been destroyed but for some unknown reason the book was never published and the British Museum has bought them.
There was also a large print of the famous Big Wave and a film about it which was very interesting. I had booked and bought tickets for the show but when l got there decided to exchange for a years membership and they deducted the money already paid off the price, they have some very good exhibitions coming up and a much acclaimed one on Peru on at the moment so l will certainly get my moneys worth, £103 for my card and a spare card for a friend.

Weatherwise: at 10am 3°C feels like 2. Dull, no rain
