Because they have Covid and cannot come to our family Burns Supper this evening. No problem. We have rescheduled for Saturday when hopefully everyone is fully recovered.

Today was another very cold grey day. I had an appointment in Gloucester first thing. I learnt the hard way the issues of morning rush hour traffic! Pre Covid traffic levels have definitely returned!

This afternoon, on a chilly walk, we saw a small flock of finches including two majestic goldfinch. It was a wonderful sight and sound. It whet our televisual appetite for tonight’s Winterwatch!
