Mandarin Ducks

We went to Etherow Country Park this afternoon with the hope of seeing some brightness in the sky - no luck. We should have stayed at home apparently but then we would not have seen all the birds.

Two Cormorants were fishing (successfully) in the large pond but not very close for photos but the Mandarin ducks posed perfectly.

Buzzard overhead and many ducks (mostly Mallards)  , geese (mostly Canadas) and Black-headed Gulls
