Signs of Spring

Another day spent outside after a slow start this morning. As the rain is due to arrive tomorrow morning I thought I should at least start the post winter tidy up of the garden which included the first grass cut of the year! It is amazing how just mowing the lawn can make the garden look so different.

Three beautiful things:
Lots of fresh air and that 'healthy' tired feeling
A good stomp along the green lanes
The tiny wren bobbing about on the fence post.

One thing to be grateful for:
Spare hinges were to hand when the gate hinges snapped due to rusting!
