Wedding Day - Easthampstead Park Bracknell
Wedding photographer today for a really fab couple. The bride is Steve's cousin through marriage and we have known each other since I came down south. They hired me last year for their wedding today; unbelievable where the past year has disappeared to!
Today was a glorious day - bright blue skies, fluffy white clouds and temperatures that would have felt fabulous in July. So good to see the seasons are really changing now; lets hope it lasts!
I met with the bridal party who were getting ready at the venue, all looked fantastic from the table settings, the venue and of course the bride and the bridesmaids. Everything was on time until the unthinkable happened and the fire alarm went off mid dress doing up! Of all of the times that could happen! We were escorted out the building and moved to a different section of the meeting point so we wouldn't see the boys. Everything was fine in the end and we were let back in after 10 minutes or so.
All was calm after the storm and they had a beautiful day. I managed to capture some stunning photographs that I cannot wait to share with the couple and on my blog.
A swift drive home to back up everything and get changed into glad rags to enjoy the rest of the evening as a guest and family!
Brilliant day - I absolutely love my job!
