Lotus fruits

These lotus fruits were on offer at the grocery, so I took a kilo of them... they're nice fleshy fruits. However Sweetheart doesn't eat them, doesn't like them and all that because of the writer Homerus, who wrote the Odyssee and one of its stories is about eating lotus fruits and then having been intoxicated and forgotten where one's home is... Sweetheart is afraid that would happen to him too :-) 
I don't fear such and love these fruits!
