Public holiday. Headed out to the beach first thing to beat the heat. So too did just about everyone else in Melbourne. Eeeeeeek!

S home from hospital today, and fairly chipper when I spoke to him on the phone, which is bloomin’ excellent.

J and I went out to the theatre tonight to see Touching the Void while L babysat A and E. Felt like a momentous occasion… haven’t done anything like that for so long. So novel, I didn’t even mind wearing an N95 the whole time. Anyway, the play was great. Amazing story, very well told, and great use of the set.
