Man (James) .........
............ up a ladder "doing" a tree - he did a couple of others, too, while he was here. Taken through the back door glass.
Up at 06.30 to start the drive for a 09.00 appointment at the Spinal Unit in Louth for Himself. 110 mile round trip through the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Saw a really good doctor (Matt) who was extremely informative and thorough ....... the upshot is that Himself now has another couple of "ailments" to add to his very long and ever-growing list.
Latest additions: spinal stenosis and scoliosis - of course, Him being Him, not the ordinary form of scoliosis but the corkscrew form! It's causing pain in his hip and knees and, with his mobility being a little restricted after his stroke, this only makes things worse.
Still, we drove home in quite an upbeat mood, the promise of another MRI and the knowledge that, after around five years of investigation of the hip and knee pain, we finally found a doctor who knew his stuff!!
To cap it all our GP called us in the evening to find out what had happened at the appointment! Wow, such good service from our doc.
Home at about 14.30 and James the TreeMan arrived at 15.00 - perfect timing!!
Smile for the Day:
Lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked so it follows that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked, and dry cleaners depressed.
