A Walk Without My Woolly Hat

Another sunset as it has been an absolutely glorious sunny day today. It was quite warm and I even dared to take Dylan for a walk without my woolly hat.

After work I popped up to do some in-hand work with China but unfortunately he’s still looking a bit sore. I have the farrier coming on Monday to check his feet and if he’s no better after that I think I may have to call the vet.

This evening I met my friend Ali for a drink at the pub in Market Weighton. It was our rearranged Christmas drink that we had to postpone because of covid! We had a lovely evening catching up and mainly talking horses. She was trying to persuade me to move back to Mel’s yard as that’s where we originally met…tempting…I just wish it wasn’t so far away!
