Super new restaurant

Upstairs in Lichfield.

It's marvellous.

Very popular - we'd been on the wait list for three weeks. Yes, for a Friday lunchtime. I'd heard nothing so I phoned and left a message.

The chef patron phoned me back while I was sitting on a bench at Bluebell Arboretum. He sounded charming.

The restaurant is delightful. We had the three course lunch menu. ( there was an amuse bouche and a mini carrot cake after the dessert as well)

Marvellous. Total Masterchef Professional.

It was so good we booked a table online before our main course arrived. And next time we're going to go on the bus and have the full tasting menu, with wine.
