Another day, another walk

OH playing golf so he had an early start. I was awake so made tea and contemplated the day. I had a gym session booked but the sun was shining so I decided on a long walk instead. I downloaded podcasts and set off on a long circular walk. Home by lunchtime and the weather was lovely and springlike so I decided to do a couple of hours in the garden. I pruned back the hellebores which are just about to flower so the dead leaves won’t get in the way. I also tidied a border which was left over from last year. Sweet peas planted in root trainers this year was another job ticked off.

OH home from golf by 2.00 ( it’s getting later as I’m sure they sit and chat longer over coffee, but that’s ok). He had lunch while I finished off in the garden, and I missed lunch as I had a late breakfast. We decided to head off to town to buy some frames for the prints which I had ordered for the bedroom. We managed to get the right sizes and mounts too - they will look good.

A satisfying day again.
