Keep looking up ...

It seems that Snoopy knew a thing or two! Here's our tame great spotted woodpecker, who goes by the name of Charlie by the way, looking up into the higgledy-piggledy branches of our twisted hazel tree. I love it when he comes to visit, he brings a flash of colour and personality into the garden, which I have really appreciated today. We've both felt very weary and are still recovering from a bumpy week. But we are still looking up ... and are grateful for the gradual healing process that is taking place.
