Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2022 Friday — A Real Snooze

These two pups are proof that we had one crazy fun day. They are totally wiped-out and snoring and snoozing thru this Friday evening.

About midway thru the day we headed out for an adventure. We went north to Cambria.

Chloe and Mitzi would say the best part was walking on the beach at Shamel Park. We’ve been there many times before, but these two pups never get tired of visiting this park and the beach that is just beyond it.

Mr. Fun & I would say the best part was finding the Red Moose Cookie Company. We’ve known about the cookie place, but we’ve never found it before. Mr. Fun bought a little bag of brownies. I got a package of 4 Root Beer Float flavored cookies. Both choices are fabulous.

The main reason we were in Cambria, though, was to stop at the farmers market to visit the soup booth. This past Monday we had purchased a jar of Stephanie’s Barley Vegetable Soup; delicious is the only way to describe it, and we wanted more.

We also stopped at the Vineyard Church’s Re•Create Thrift Store. I found and bought a wooden rolling pin like the one my Grammie Teele used to use. I got a metal spatula with a wooden handle that looks like it belongs in a professional kitchen. I also got a flannel shirt that has a breast pocket on each side (shirts without pockets frustrate me), and I also found two pair of brown socks for 50¢ each. I spent $15 and was a satisfied shopper.

We arrived home and settled-in for the best entertainment of the day — the sunset show.

Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
