The Kelpies at Sunrise.

We almost slept in this morning! Just got to the Kelpies in time, not helped by a very slow learner driver!
However, although the colour had begun to fade, I rather like the view across the canal basin to the back of the big horse heads.
After a picnic lunch in the car, we returned home to ensure all was secure as possible before Storm Corrie arrived.
The storm has just hit. We have had light rain most of the afternoon but the wind is now blowing up hard and hitting our front windows. Time to snuggle down!
