We returned to the Gargunnock estate and found not only the snowdrops really coming through but also an early rhododendron beginning to come into bloom. 
While on the way, the car odometer passed 55,555 miles (photo courtesy of my lovely assistant, MaggieD). Not that this signifies anything special other that it is five fives all in a row.
