Respite (Day 2458)

Really nice to wake up and not hear the wind howling. It was even nicer not to get blown around when I took Sigyn for her morning wander. After taking Sigyn out, I headed to town and got the weekly shopping done.
Back home for a coffee then out with
my beautiful wife to get a ride on the George and Red. I know the pic is a bit squinty, but we were trotting when I took it. It was really good to be out again, and not battling with the wind.
Home for lunch, then while HV got organised to head overseas, I took Sigyn out at Lyde. She seemed to appreciate the lack of wind too, and raced around through the heather in celebration.
I finished up the daylight with another trip through to the horses to dish out some more feed and hay.
