Sunshine, with hail and snow (Day 2459)

Thank you for all the stars, hearts and comments on yesterday's milestone blip. I hadn't realised it was coming up, but I am really proud to have been part of this great community for nine years.
This morning, with
my beautiful wife away overseas, woofer and hoss duties fell to me to deal with. First up, a wander up the hill with Sigyn. We arrived at the foot of the hill at the same time as a fierce hailstorm. It was unpleasant.
When I arrived at the yard a bit later on, the sky was worth a quick snap for blip. Snow and hail showers battered me as I dealt with the yard chores. All the horses were happy enough, though George was disappointed I didn't have any extra treats for him.
Home to warm up, then get some lunch before taking Sigyn out to Lyde. We were pretty lucky with the weather, and missed the snow and hail. Back home to get Sigyn fed, and to get warmer up again.
Before long it was time to get along to the horses again and get them ready for the night.
Sigyn and I are awaiting the return of HV from her adventures overseas.
