Kingarts Mixed Media Gel Sticks

These arrived a couple of days ago. I’m still figuring out how to use them effectively in my paintings. They allow me to have less sharp edges and I can blend them. My next question is, do they dry completely and can I use varnish over them? We shall see. The extra is my first attempt. This was for my zoom assignment. Not sure I love them on textured paper.
