Wild West (of China)

For most of the week in the Tibetan Plateau it felt like we could have been the first Europeans that people had ever seen. People don't think anything of coming half a metre from your face and staring at it gormlessly.

So we could be as bold in return, taking photos of cute kids. They all have rosy cheeks because of the cold and dry air.

This was in a small town in the middle of nowhere and it had a real frontier feeling about it.
