Walk and Talk

Had a good walk and talk meeting with my CEO.  We decided to climb Sugar Loaf mountain in Abergavenny to remember our mentor, Denis Curran.  We were really lucky with the weather, the rain held off, it was just blowing a gale up top.  The lighting was quite fantastic and as you can see in this blip, we could actually see down to Newport and the coast.

Plenty of things discussed, some problems can be resolved, others have to wait for better times.  Had to deal with another problem this morning, extremely frustrating that people can't get their act together.

Had to take my father to the GP again, he's no better than last week.  GP didn't really have an answer though, so we'll just have to hope things improve and he gets that physio appointment quick.  He's cancelled his cataract operation tomorrow as well.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  A good walk and talk on Sugar Loaf
2.  Salmon and potato bread for tea
