Refreshing drinks

After church today, the firstborn and I went to the Sunshine Plaza for some shopping. He doesn’t get the opportunity during the week, hence a weekend trip.

We found a nice Vietnamese restaurant for lunch and Jon kindly treated me! Can’t believe that they can do that now.

Shopping done, we headed home to Martin getting dinner ready and baking … a walnut and date loaf. Mmmm, it was super yummy.

We then got settled to watch the men’s tennis final. It was an epic match if there ever was one! Nadal made an amazing comeback, but the whole match was nail biting; right to the end. Wow, we really got some amazing tennis today. Kudos to Medvedev who held up well against a very tough audience.

The match finished at 12:30am for us, Ben and I stayed to watch it till the finish … and speeches!
