The Hill Of Allen is just a few miles from me but unfortunately I didn’t realize it was being lit up last night until too late..!!
I lit a candle and hoped that wherever she is she will send blessings and strength to all of us on this her National Feast Day....she was by all accounts a strong warrior woman...!
And from next year the first Monday in February will be a new Bank Holiday in her honour...
Something new to look forward to..!
