The Big Helper

Sunny but chilly, high of 42 deg F and low predicted of 29 deg F. It was another pretty quiet day. We had a leisurely breakfast and then went to granddaughter Lauren’s home. Hubby installed the last two baby gates on the stairs. Lauren was in a virtual class for her job; her Mom was watching River. I played with that cutie but he really wanted to spend his time with Granddad. So glad we are actually able to visit with him again so he can get to know us. Being cooped up at home and not socializing due to COVID, has delayed his speech. Lauren has set up visits with a speech therapist who says she has seen far too many children with this issue since COVID began. His second birthday is Thursday so you may see his smiling face in another blip shot this week. I added a thumbnail of one of the four new gates. We grabbed a burger after the project was complete. The kitties have been snuggling with us since we got home. The outside air was cold and left us both quite chilled. Hope you are all comfy today. Thanks for stopping by.
