New dahlia tubers

The 'Totally Tangerine' dahlia tubers I ordered have arrived and it's way too early to plant them out.

I want to store them in the greenhouse but I need to dry the compost they're going to be in first as dahlia tubers don't like cold and wet.

I've filled up pots with a mix of peat free + coir compost and will keep the tubers in a dark cupboard under the stairs until the compost feels dry enough to the touch. 

If the sunny weather continues, this shouldn't take long as I've had to start watering plants in the greenhouse - the bubblewrap insulation really makes a difference during the day and keeps the greenhouse frost free at night.
