2022 Marmalade!

The marmalade was made by my husband last week but I’ve only just got around to doing the labels! 

He makes a batch in January and it usually lasts us all year as we do not eat it that often. Some pots have already gone to two friends who have toast and marmalade every day so are pleased to receive a pot at any time of year.

I find the most tiresome part is trying to remove the labels from jars as the adhesive that is used these days does not want to come off.

I also took a group of friends on a bike ride round parts of Twickenham,Teddington and Hampton to visit 12 different blue plaques on the outside of houses. A nice little outing revisiting lots of the history of the area which some of them did not know. Next time we will do Richmond and Kew!
