Wetlands
The zoom presentation I was watching last night went on for two hours and I was practically horizontal by the end. However, it was a very interesting subject - a new website on The Holy Wells of County Clare and there are some excellent ones! And I got a mention! Talking of wells does she ever talk about anything else, the extra is of the second well I went to yesterday, all decked out for its pattern day. When I arrived three elderly ladies were reciting the rosary in the pilgrim's shelter. They then emerged to pay the rounds, have a fag and extract the info from me - done swiftly and most professionally. The chat was mighty. Business was brisk.
And sadly it wasn't Kendallishere who leapt into yesterday's well but she does have fond memories of it.
And just for a change - did you know its World Wetlands Day today? Well it is and this is part of my own wetland at the end of the garden, now being enjoyed by frogs, herons, whirligigs, the occasional mallard and a lot of vegetation - though less than last week.
I haven't done much today apart from get the hair sorted. That's enough for anyone.
