Can Spring be far away?

Today we paid a little visit to St Lolan’s churchyard to check out the snowdrops. They seem to be just fine but some sections are a bit sparse following some repair work. 
St Lolan’s is an ancient and ruined church roughly opposite the current Kincardine in Menteith parish church. Todays extra shows the escutcheon above the old Kirk door. Cheery, isn’t it?
