Riverside Broadwalks

Riverside Nature Reserve in Guildford is squashed between the River Wey Navigations (very peaceful) and the A3 Portsmouth to London major road route (not so peaceful).  Part of the reserve, next to the canal path, is a boggy wetland area and a network of broadwalks has been constructed across it. It was my target today to provide an entry for BobsBlips Wide Wednesday Challenge of Nature, plus it also helps celebrate World Wetlands Day.

As I headed back to the car along the canal path I was treated to a spectacular sunset (extra), though I missed the most intense red sky by about 5 minutes by making the mistake of getting into the car and driving home!
