Impermanence again.
Part of the scenery, the pine trees have always been there, at least as long as I have, until recently, when they were hit by a parassite from distant lands which has no local antagonists.
Sooner or later all the Maritime Pine trees will be gone as so will I and the children of our grand children will be under the illusion of running the show themselves.
The Titch, following an oral exam at school, was told by his teacher that she would just about give him a pass mark but remarked that his elder brother always gets top marks as soon as he opens his mouth. Whether she intended to stimulate or humiliate him, we do not know.
During the same morning a shrink visited his class and asked all the youngsters to draw a tree. She concluded that the Titch is a very generous person, protective of his siblings.
As told by T, himself, he agreed, saying that obviously he is protective towards to R who has learning difficulties but adding that he is also very protective towards L and has massive admiration for his intelligence and ambitions too.
I suppose he sees the vulnerability there as I do.
So yes, everything is changing all the time except, hopefully, the deep, loving connection beween these brothers.
