Carpeting
We visited the NT's Oxburgh Hall on the way home today. The 15th century moated Hall is currently covered in scaffolding as they replace sections of the roof & repair the chimneys, but it was a walk around the gardens & the estate which was the main attraction as far as we were concerned.
The display of snowdrops and aconites was quite something - we have been there in February before, but this was better than ever. The main Blip is a small section of the display, while a wider view is included as an extra. There were a few bees working the aconites, but my efforts to record them weren't as sharp as I'd have liked. I did try a distant view of the Hall so that the scaffolding wasn't quite so evident (2nd extra), then had a bit of fun taking detail of the scaffolding in various places. The 3rd extra shows how the scaffolding interacts with the moat.
