Thaw

If only for a day!

The temps stayed above freezing overnight and today, allowing for considerable thaw to happen. The decks and driveway were especially impressive as they were thick, hard, Arctic tundra ice. Now, the decks are clear and the driveway is looking more like March than February.

This is short lived of course, as a major Weather event is set to come in overnight. Bringing with it rain, ice, and snow. Lots of snow…. 8-10 inches. Yuck.

I’m not a fan of winter. Never have been. I tolerate it as it’s a necessary evil living in Maine. I plan to work all day tomorrow and perhaps crank the heat and “pretend” it’s not storming outside!
