Candlemas Bells

A day late as Candlemas day was the 2nd. 

"The Snowdrop, in purest white array, First rears her head on Candlemas day."


I bought some primula yesterday and when I went to the greenhouse today to get some compost to put in the flower tub I saw these snowdrops in the corner. I remember seeing they were sometimes called Candlemas Bells.


Took the car in for service and MOT today, passed OK so it was walking down from the village and then walking back up, the down is OK but I'm positive the up is getting steeper  every year


It was a reasonable day thank goodness, not too cold and dry.
